This paper presents an integrated optimisation method for the feedback control of tunnel displacement; it combines the Support Vector Machine (SVM), particle swarm optimisation (PSO) and numerical analysis methods. Initially, the nonlinear relationship between parameters and displacements is efficiently represented by SVM.
